《成為一個人》以代表立人國小的四種形狀作為發想的主體,以認知與思考作為作品的主軸。
從幼兒時期第一次認知到圓形開始,我們的探索延伸到其他形狀、乃至這個世界。我們想讓這件作品在互動的時候,能夠以降維度的、平面的視點來觀察形狀之間的交互運動。轉動任何一個齒輪都能產生動能,擴散到全體。而思考像是一種綿長且持續的動作,如同齒輪的傳動,一路延伸至感知的界線。
此時,無論是將自我視作作品整體、內化自己的思考與情緒;又或是將自己視作其中的齒輪,在團體中與他人互相摩擦、協作,都能在作品中觀察到與平時不同的角度。
“Becoming a Person” uses four shapes representing Liren Elementary School as its core concept, focusing on cognition and thought.Starting from the recognition of the circle in early childhood, our exploration extends to other shapes and the world around us. We aim for this work to allow interaction from a lower-dimensional, planar perspective to observe the interplay of shapes. Rotating any gear generates kinetic energy that spreads throughout the whole. Thinking is a continuous action, much like the transmission of gears, extending to the boundaries of perception.
At this moment, whether viewing oneself as part of the whole work, internalizing thoughts and emotions, or seeing oneself as a gear collaborating and interacting with others in the group, one can observe different perspectives within the work.
