Leewang Studio is an art group set up by Taiwanese artists Wang Chika and Lee Wei-cheng in 2022. By practicing multiple materials, Leewang Studio focuses on the information contained in materials and explore connections between objects and places, such as sand, plant fibers, waste, etc.
With the concept of “reading the story of the land”, Leewang studio has participated in several art festivals, public art projects, and art residency programs. Also, they try to convert artworks into merchandise to share their concepts, and discover the most interesting perspectives from the place.
